Despite their best efforts, parents may see their children continue to struggle. These struggles may be apparent early in life when a child has difficulty learning language, understanding others, playing with children their age, or controlling their emotions or behavior. The impact of these struggles may become more apparent when they enter preschool or kindergarten. For other children, their challenges show up as they progress through school. These challenges include difficulties with reading, writing, speaking, listening, or math. For others, increased academic and social demands may bring up social-emotional concerns. An EdQuo Care Plan is developed through a full psychoeducational evaluation. Cognitive, academic, and social strengths and weaknesses are understood through the context of your child’s academic and social responsibilities and demands. Evidence-based recommendations are made from this understanding to develop individual capabilities through targeted self-regulation skills with, when appropriate, school, home, and professional resources.
